Than she meets a woman who doesn't have a care in the world. She puts things in perspective and that is just what Max needs to reconstruct her life. Freed from pressure and stress, Max discovers a more pleasant and meaningful way to live. This story is inspiring, motivating and very entertaining. It got me thinking about my own hectic life, my possessions and responsibilities. The plot flowed easily and the main characters fit well together and complement each other perfectly. A feel good love story and easy to read. Now I want my own tiny house.Product details

I really like this book and the mature career women in it, who found the perfect love for themselves.
I found it easy to follow and I read it almost straight thru with a smile in my heart. A lovely love story about women in their late 30s making a life for themselves and making a complete turn around in career choices.
A new life and a once in a lifetime Love. A sweet read.

I love that Nico's books get better with each publication and Tiny House did not disappoint. This story was a whole package winner what with the idea of minimal philosophy and the emotions that are part of that process. I would have liked maybe slightly more of the relationship between Max and Cady but must say I was really caught up with the tiny house.
My partner approached me about tiny houses last fall and I ignored her but now I'm obsessed and am looking for plans to build my next house, a 'tiny' house.
Male heterosexual romance addict who loved reading this book. This is my fourth Nicolette book and they are so refreshing I’m eager for the next. I feel like grabbing this book and slapping boy meets girl authors and saying this is how you make your readers happy. Stop having heroines with a PHD make decisions and say things worthy of a fifteen year old just so there can be a bitter break. Does anybody pick up a book thinking I can’t wait for the stupid fight scenes? This book will keep you smiling and joy when you return to it!!
Tiny House Big Love was a nice change of pace book about focusing on things that matter most in life versus material objects. With tiny houses being a big craze right now, I'm surprised to not have read a book with this as the theme. So the author definitely took advantage to create a nice story with this as the backdrop. Add in lawyer Max and free-spirit Cady to guide the way with this major life change and the author creates a winning combination.

Have you ever thought of downsizing your life into little more than 200 sq feet? This book shows how it can be done. But much more than that, this is a love story about how you can bring change to your life without really trying. The story starts with Max getting laid off from her job as an attorney. She suffers from all of the doubts that happen to someone who is all of a sudden lacking their income.
Through her network of friends, Max finds out how it would feel to live in a tiny house and the economic freedom that comes from such a decision. Max decides to trade in her 3000 sq ft house for a 200 sq ft trailer. Along the way she trades her lease car for a Jeep and makes other financial decisions that total change her life.
Once she moves into her tiny home, Max needs to find an outlet for her energy. Having the summer off and starting a love life was very liberating, but Max feels a need to be involved in something that gives her some income. To find out whether Max decides to open a small law practice, or write or do something else, you need to read this book.
Unlike other Nicolette Dane stories, this one lacks a real surprise ending. It is well written and moves smoothly and quickly from scene to scene, but there is no jarring surprise in the middle of the story. It kind of flows from one decision to another, and therefore, I did not come away with a feeling of strong satisfaction that I have over other stories that Ms. Dane has told.
The book was great! Very informative and lovely characters. It really makes you think that love is out there you just need to open yourself up the possibility’s.
Fun read. A great summer reading story that is filled with yes it does have sex in it which the author is expert at weaving it through the story line.
